Victoria, BC, is an adorable oceanside city with a historic, quaint downtown. I loved seeing the heritage buildings, narrow alleyways and cute boutiques as much as I enjoyed visiting the Parliament. This is, after all, the capital of our province.
One of my favourite ways to spend my time when I travel is simply to wander. I like to take pictures of cool building façades, colourful laneways and unique structures beneath blues skies.
Buildings can tell stories from the past or inspire hope to shape the future. Sometimes, they can fuse both together.
In the daytime, I explored the city streets. When dusk fell, I gravitated towards the waterfront for views of the Empress and the Legislature.

And even on our ferry sailing home, I was treated to beautiful views. I’ll be back soon, Vancouver Island!
